West Virginia State Water Festival
The 2024 WV State Water Festival will be held July 20-July 27th. This annual event showcases Summers County and the historical railroad town of Hinton. Among the many family-centered activities planned for the week are the coronation of Queen Mermaid and Little Miss Mermaid, live music, a craft show, street dance, rubber ducky race, pancake breakfasts, car show, quilt show, pretty baby contest, art show, fireman’s parade, Grand parade, float trip, kayak race, fishing tournament, food, vendors, and more!
